Anticipating 650 attendees, this year's event promises an immersive journey across diverse countries and design styles, all orchestrated by over 30 of the most acclaimed designers in Virginia and beyond.

With a theme of "What a Wonderful World," event attendees are sure to be taken on a global adventure that is not to be missed.
An Evening at Tablescapes features an exclusive first look and grand reveal of the event's tablescapes. The following day, the Tablescapes Luncheon will include time for guests to view the tables and meet the designers, followed by a speaker that amplifies the theme and Little Hands Virginia's mission, and lunch while seated at the designed tables.

Back this year is the silent art auction, which will be available for preview during An Evening at Tablescapes and close during the luncheon. You do not need to be present to win.

An Evening at Tablescapes
Thursday, May 2nd

​The exclusive grand reveal of the tablescapes, a moment of awe and wonder. Meet designers for firsthand insights into their creative process.
Enjoy live music, heavy hors d'oeuvres, and an open bar. Preview and begin bidding on the silent art auction with unique pieces, and enjoy a captivating short program and donation drive supporting Little Hands Virginia.

Tablescapes Luncheon
Friday, May 3rd
10:00am - 2:00pm
Experience the event’s grandeur with tablescapes viewing and mingling from 10:00am-11:30am. Meet and talk with the designers before enjoying lunch while seated at the amazing tablescapes. A special program with follow with keynote remarks by India Hicks, and a designer panel with Emma Brazilian and Emily Eerdmans.
Enjoy bubbles and wine, as well as live entertainment, throughout the day. The silent art auction will close during the event.

Introducing our 2024 Keynote Speaker
India Hicks
Designer, entrepreneur, best-selling author, and mother of five, India Hicks was born in London, England, and comes from both British and design royalty. Her father was famed interior decorator David Hicks, and her mother is Lady Pamela Hicks, whose father was the last Viceroy of India. India has often made bold life choices, which have led to a multi-faceted, unexpected life journey. She has authored five design books, modeled for Ralph Lauren, among others, and been an on-air personality for networks ranging from Bravo to the BBC. She has had her hand in the design world for over two decades – from hotels to home collections.
Meet our 2024 Tablescapes Luncheon Design Panelists
Emma Bazilian
Emma Bazilian is the content director at FREDERIC magazine and Frederic Media, and co-author of the book Charm School: The Schumacher Guide to Traditional Decorating for Today (Monacelli). A former editor at the Hearst Design Group and House Beautiful, where she coined the term “Grandmillennial,” she is also an avid needle pointer.
Emily Eerdmans
Emily Evans Eerdmans is a design historian and founder of Eerdmans, a fine and decorative arts gallery and consultancy in New York City. She is the author of several books including the newly published Mario Buatta: Anatomy of a Decorator as well as monographs on Madeleine Castaing and Henri Samuel. A close friend of Buatta, Eerdmans oversaw the dispersal of his estate, including the blockbuster auction at Sotheby’s. Eerdmans has a Master’s degree in Fine and Decorative Arts from Sotheby’s Institute of Art, London, and has taught design history at the Fashion Institute of Technology and the New York School of Interior Design.
Little Hands Virginia ensures economically disadvantaged young children have the essentials they need from birth to improve outcomes for life. In 2022, the organization supported over 2,500 children through its network of 70 partners and is on pace to reach over 5,000 children in 2023.
